Showcasing Piedmont excellences

Autumn, the gourmet season in Piedmont, in among the scent of must and truffles, following the aromas of cheese, enjoying a risotto or a plate of agnolotti del plin (Piedmontese traditional stuffed fresh pasta), a braised beef stewed in Barolo wine or a soft chocolate bunèt (creamy pudding), sipping a fine wine like a Nebbiolo, a Cortese or a Moscato...

Eccellenze del Piemonte in vetrina | Showcasing Piedmont’s Excellences is all this and more: from October to December 2021, a full programme of events taking place all over, including gourmet experiences at the Castle of Roddi, in the Alba area, offering thematic dinners, cookery classes school, sensory workshops on truffles and remote meetings on wine. Tasting events in the area, where the White Truffle of Alba meets Piedmontese excellence in cookery classes with chefs, to discover recipes and local products. Tastings in Piedmont's Regional Wine Centres (Enoteche), discovering DOC and DOCG wines and, finally, two appointments combining the White Truffle of Alba with a Piedmontese and Lazio’s golf excellence.

 

“Eccellenze del Piemonte in vetrina” is a project of the Region Piedmont, included in the programme of the 91st edition of Alba’s International White Truffle Fair in cooperation with VisitPiemonte Regional Marketing and Promotion, Piedmont's Local Tourist Agencies, the Regional Wine Centres (Enoteche) and the Italian Sommelier Association of Piedmont.
